Two naturally produced proteins which complement and oppose each other in the skin setting are Elastin and Collagen. Why mention these? - Sleeping or lying down for a minimum of 3 hours
- Increasing blood flow to the face for 24 hours (e.g. vigorous exercise, sauna, alcohol, spicy foods, air travel)

Dermal fillers may change the contours of the face or fill deep creases, while Redensity 1 does not have those effects. i.e., Redensity 1 can only result in a natural look and may be used almost anywhere on the face.

The hyaluronic acid replaces what has been lost with the ageing process and draws moisture to make the skin plumper. Although the procedure has an excellent safety record, and is even safer than dermal filler treatment, there are minor risks associated with any medical procedure that is performed. In this case this includes infection, allergy, asymmetry, bruising, suboptimal result and vascular occlusion, but this is exceptionally rare. It is important to note that while most people that have Redensity 1 treatment will experience some very minor bruising, that should subside over 24-48 hours, a minority of people may experience significant bruising that may last for one week and because of this, Redensity 1 treatment should not be carried out just before an important public event or similar.
Redensity 1 from Teoxane Teosyal comes in two sizes of syringe: 1ml and 3ml. The amount required is determined by the size of the area that needs treatment. For instance, if it is just the top lip that requires treatment for smoker’s lines then 1ml would be appropriate. However, if larger areas such as the cheeks, forehead of around the eyes require treatment then 3ml would be suitable.
